Office Chair Rotation Lock - Black Anodized

This product is metal adapter designed to lock your office chair's rotation function by securing the gas lift tube mechanism in place.  This is useful when playing simulator games where the forces exerted on the controls can cause your chair to rotate.  The chair's rotation function can easily be locked and unlocked by way of a clamp lever, which is reachable while seated in the chair by leaning forward.  

Compatible with most office chairs that have a 50mm (1.97") lower and 28mm (1.10") upper gas lift tube diameter. 

Not compatible with chairs where the larger diameter part of the gas lift tube extends to less than 33mm above the wheelbase.  Also, not compatible with chairs using a spiral lift instead of a gas lift system.

This mechanism locks chair rotation only, not wheel movement. For locked wheels, use lockable wheels or fixed casters.

Installation requires removing the upper part of the gas lift from the seat base.  Plastic cover over the gas lift will also need to be removed.  We do not yet sell gas lift removal tools but will have them available soon.
